Privacy policy
Famzi is a habit app for families with young children, so we keep this short and we keep it honest.

The short version. We store the little we need to run the app, we never sell it, we show no advertising, and you can delete all of it from inside the app in three taps.
What we store
- Your family. The family name you chose, your email address and your parent PIN. The PIN is stored as a one-way hash, so nobody, including us, can read it back.
- Each child. The name, age and avatar you enter, and a photo if you choose to add one. Children get no account of their own, and we ask them for nothing directly.
- Their activity. Jobs, coins and stars, streaks and rewards claimed, so progress is still there tomorrow.
- A notification token, only if you turn notifications on, so we can tell you a job needs approving.
About photos. Adding one is optional. Your phone's photo picker hands Famzi only the single image you chose, so the app never gets access to your photo library or your camera. It is stored with that child's profile, is visible only to your family, and you can remove it at any time from Parent, next to the child's picture.
What we don't collect
- No location, contacts, microphone or camera
- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising
- No tracking across other apps or websites
- No data brokers, ever. We don't sell or rent anything.
Children's data
Children never create an account and never give us anything directly. A parent enters a first name, an age, an avatar and optionally a photo; that is the entire profile. Only people you invite into your family can see it.
Where it lives
Famzi runs on Google Firebase. Your family's data is stored in Google Cloud and protected by security rules that only let members of your own family read or change it.
Deleting your data
Open Famzi, tap Parent → Family & account → Your data, then Delete your account. Everything goes immediately and we keep no backup.
Uninstalled already? Email us and we'll do it for you, usually the same day, always within 30 days.
